Sharon M. Irvine, DO

Having completed her medical education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Dr. Sharon Mansfield Irvine is a proud alumnus from the class of 1988. Though a native of California, she opted for San Diego to undertake her postgraduate education and continued working there for half a decade before relocating back to Fort Worth. Dr. Irvine is a board-certified Family Practice physician who focuses particularly on women’s health and bio-identical hormone therapy.
Dr. Irvine is a strong believer in the central philosophy of Osteopathic Medicine, which posits that the mind, body, and spirit all play pivotal roles in the healing and health maintenance processes. About eighteen years ago, she embarked on a mission to study the roles of hormone levels, vitamins, and other vital nutrients in the healing process. Her methods include saliva and blood tests to determine the need for essential hormones like estradiol, progesterone, DHEA, and testosterone in maintaining health. Additionally, she evaluates the functioning of the adrenal and thyroid glands. She collaborates with several local compounding pharmacies to supply these natural products.
Having been an active member of the Southcliff church in Fort Worth for two decades, Dr. Irvine also leads a small group during Sunday services. Happily married to Dr. James Irvine, they are blessed with three children, LaPonna, Moriah, and James.
